The Unmanned Aerial Complex “ARES A1” (hereinafter referred to as “UAC ARES A1”) is the latest Ukrainian strike UAV, designed to perform combat missions involving the transportation of payloads and the engagement of enemy personnel and equipment, including armored vehicles and fortified or armored enemy positions, from the air, as well as conducting remote mining operations both day and night under various weather conditions.
The “ARES A1” UAV is equipped with an automatic control system and can be operated in manual mode (fully controlled by the operator), semi-automatic mode, or fully automatic mode (in case of communication interference, etc.). In automatic mode, the UAV performs missions based on pre-programmed coordinates and is capable of making intermediate stops during flight to deploy its payload.
The hull of the PIYAVKA-1000 is manufactured from high-strength fiberglass reinforced with polyester resins, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability in marine environments. The hull thickness ranges from approximately 6–8 mm, providing an optimal balance between structural strength and weight.
The central section of the hull houses the main cargo (warhead) compartment, while the forward and rear sections are designed to accommodate standard onboard systems and supporting equipment.
The «KOLYADА K4» Unmanned Aerial Complex (hereinafter referred to as UAC MAGURA UA) is designed to carry out combat missions involving strikes on enemy personnel, as well as on lightly and heavily armored equipment, from the air—both during the day and at night. Since 2023, the complex has been effectively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fight against the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The UAC has successfully passed all required tests under electronic warfare (EW) conditions, including those conducted in cooperation with representatives of the State Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Weapons and Military Equipment. UAC «KOLYADА K4» has received a Standard Inventory Item Registration Certificate and has been assigned the NATO Stock Number 1550-61-017 8479. Control communication with the drone is carried out via an FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) device operating in the 500–1010 MHz range. The UAV is equipped with a secure GNSS module featuring anti-spoofing functionality. Additionally, under extreme electronic warfare (EW) conditions, when GPS signals are jammed, navigation along the flight is performed manually—using analog video on frequencies of 5.8 GHz and 3.3 GHz, or digital video on frequencies 1700–2400 MHz.
